1) Dropbox
Dropbox is a filesharing system which automatically synchronizes files and folders between computers.
Dropbox also functions as a base from which you can embed sound and soundslides to a blog.

2) Audacity (audio)
Audacity is a free audio editor and recorder.
Great for putting the final touches on oral hand-ins.

To save your projects in as MP3-files you might need to download and install Lame

3) Soundslides (audio + pictures)
With Soundslides you can combine still pictures and sound to create moving stories.

4) Videospin (video)
Videospin is a simple and intuitive video editing program.
However, please note that the free trial version is available for 14 days.

5) Link Tutorial

6) Embed Sound
Step 1:
Save your mp3-file in your dropbox public folder.
Step 2:
Open a browser and log in to your dropbox-account
Step 3:
Find your mp3-file and click the drop-down menu. Find the option "Copy public link". This will give you the address of your file.
Step 4:
Start a new post and include the following code in HTML:

<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="LINK" src="http://www.google.com/reader/ui/3523697345-audio-player.swf" width="400" height="27" quality="best"></embed>

Remember to replace LINK with the real link.

7) Embed Soundslide
Step 1:
When you are satisfied with your Soundslide press export. This will create a finished soundslide.
Step 2:
Open a browser and log in to your dropbox-account.
Step 3:
Find your folder and find the index.html-file. click the drop-down menu. Find the option "Copy public link". This will give you the address of your file.
Step 4:
Go to the following webpage:

http://tools.soundslides.com/embed/

Insert your public link and press continue. This will give you an embed code.
Step 5:
Start a new post and include the embed code in HTML-mode

8) Embed Youtube Video:
Step 1:
Find the Youtube video you want to embed.
Step 2:
Press the button "del" and then press the button "indlejring". This will give you an embed code.
Note the options bar at the bottom of the screen where you can change the size in which the video will be displayed.
Step 3:
Start a new post and include the embed code in HTML-mode

9) Record mp3
An easy solution is of course to record your audio on your pc or mac. But if you do not have the necessary equipment a smartphone constitutes a good alternative.
If you own a smartphone free mp3 recording apps are available for download.
